Best everyday running shoe
"Overall, I’m really impressed with the ASICS Megablast! So far, I’ve taken them out for a 7 km outdoor run as well as a couple of short 2 km warm-up runs on the treadmill, and they performed exceptionally well on both surfaces. They feel extremely lightweight, provide solid energy return, and offer great support without feeling restrictive. The lockdown and grip are spot on. Definitely a versatile and comfortable running shoe!"

Unbelievable shoe. My absolute go
"Unbelievable shoe. My absolute go to. Mine are coming the end of the life, put about 1. 5km in them. . . time for a new pair and yes it will be the MegaBlasts again. They can't be beaten"

Perfect non-plated
"It was a perfect replacement for Superblast 2 only much better. Unlike the Superblastt 2, the Megablast doesn't have the slappy feel and sound. The Megablast is much lighter. I decided to go half size higher based on other people's experience with the toe box. Had a few fast runs with it already and it is a perfect non-plated fast shoe."

These shoes are so good,
"These shoes are so good, I loved the Superblast but the mega blast feel a bit faster. Great fit, true to size, great color, fully recommend. Comfortable and not slippery when it’s wet these shoes are the perfect addition to your running line up. I can’t wait to do a bit of a faster session in these shoes, I think they will be perfect ."

A great all rounder shoe
"A great can do it all shoe. It gets used for long runs with pace, tempo run and even racing. Max cush, light feel and great bounce. A great can do it all shoe. It gets used for long runs with pace, tempo run and even racing. Max cush, light feel and great bounce."

The only shoe you’ll need
"I don’t normally like high stack shoes but I liked the Megablast from the first run. For most, this is the only shoe you’ll need for all training, it’s that versatile. It does everything well at all paces, and is nice and cushioned without being mushy. Its ideal use though is progressive long runs or long sessions with mixed paces, but equally at home on easy days too. However, if you did want to build a rotation around it, all you’d need is a dedicated racing shoe (if you’re worried about the race legality of the stack) and something more nimble for workouts. Could be a little unstable at slow paces for some, and the toe box taper might be an issue, but I have wider feet and I was perfectly fine in my normal size. Loses one star for value at full retail price, but given its versatility, it’s more justifiable than a pure racing shoe at the same price."

The best all rounder
"Most fav shoe yet. Good for seriously everything. Intervals. Long run. Great grip. Super stable. Can’t ask for more in a shoe basically the best all rounder you can find."

Fast Jack-of-all-trades!
"These can handle my Easy Runs all the way to my Tempo and Long Runs! The energy return you get from them is the perfect mixture of springy bouncy and stability. I recommend half sizing up if you plan to run longer distances, your toes will thank you"

The Megablast has quickly become
"The Megablast has quickly become my go-to shoe for heavy marathon-build long runs. It delivers the perfect trifecta: incredibly light, highly responsive, and comfortable right out of the box. The energy return keeps your legs feeling fresh even as the distance climbs, making it a great show for logging serious weekend mileage."

Perfect Super Trainer - Do Everything
"If you're looking for 1 shoe to do pretty well everything, this is it! Has the stability despite the stack and cushion to keep the legs in good shape on recovery runs or for the long run. Has the pep and bounce to keep you going forward for tempo or speed work. I've used these for races also and love the feel, so fun and without a carbon plate. Had put up 500km and beat up one pair that's still going strong, have bought a second into the rotation I love them that much!"
