"As a sports nutritionist, the Maurten 100 CAF 100 is one of my go-to recommendations for endurance athletes as the hydrogel format makes it easy to tolerate during hard training sessions and races. The neutral taste is also a nice change from overly sweet gels, and I've found it to be particularly effective for athletes who struggle with GI issues during exercise."
"Always excellent, but reserve for races and key events due to cost. Depending on the day the caffeine can add up if taking several gels/nutrition products"
"Can't go wrong with Maurten gels, it lives up to the name and gives you a great boost especially when you start out your run and you need a caffeine hit"
"Goes down easy and its pretty gentle on the tummy. Taste is pretty netural. Carbs are always needed on the long runs. Pretty pricey but this gel is worth. Perfect for marathon training and for racing. Caf for the extra boost"
"These things are great."
"I personally didn’t not enjoy the consistency of the gel. However, it was convenient and light weight making it perfect for my marathon."
"Very hood gel, works very quickly & gives an energy boost as needed."
"Good gel, does the job."
"Maurten Gels are quite popular so I thought I'd try them instead of my normal Huma (more natural) brand blend. Haven't really experienced much performance difference with Maurten gel when compared to Huma gels. Maurten gels is a little thicker in consistency. I think I'll stick with Huma gels."
